Sacks

These illustrations provide examples of medieval sacks in various contexts. Note that the sacks appear to be light-colored, presumably made from an undyed vegetable fiber (linen? hemp?), and are often closed with ropes at the top.

While the general pattern for a medieval sack seems to be a basic rectangle that's open at the top, these illustrations should provide ideas for rough dimensions for construction, as well as ideas for applications for their use.
